Library

S.H. Jondhale Polytechnic, library meets the need of its students, academics and research with a wide range of books, periodicals, national and international journals, CD-ROMS, all leading newspapers and magazines, Soft Skills & Personality Development, online database, business journals, Book Bank, project reports, in-house publications, examination papers and related documentation covering all aspects of academic studies and research material. The hi-tech labs and hi-speed internet facility act as ideal training grounds for budding professionals that allow students to experiment and bring to practice what they have learnt in theory. The library is a regular member of I.I.T., Mumbai Library, which enables the staff and students to refer the books of I.I.T-Powai, Mumbai.

Training & Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. With an objective to make the students understand and measure a few concepts and associated skills that are necessary for becoming employable, with a desire to satisfy both professional and employer needs. Among different human relations skills, ‘Interpersonal Communication Skill decides the acceptance of an individual by others. In being employable, one necessarily has to be a successful communicator to work in or with any group. This Training and Placement Cell aims at developing interpersonal communication skills and all-round performance of the students through the industry and institute interaction. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps on inviting various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering grades to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students.

T & P cell is involved in securing placements for students passing out from the institute. The ofce keeps close contact with various industrial establishments, which conducts pre-placement presentation, campus interviews and select student representatives from each department to co-ordinate the placement activities. The Placement Cell provides state of the art infra-structural facilities to conduct group discussions, tests and interviews. The Placement Cell has a library and a communication lab to enhance the students’ general aptitude and communication skills. A large number of national and multinational companies visit the Institute every year for Campus recruitment. The Cell also co-ordinates the pre-placement activities of sophomore and junior students, and motivates aspiring students to pursue Higher studies with facilities for preparing competitive exams like GATE, TOEFL, GRE, CAT, GMAT etc. Further, workshops are organized to bring out hidden potentials of the students.
